Announcement:

If you are finding the lab sessions hard, it is ok to do just two of the three exercises during the three weeks of this course.
Q: What are the submission deadlines for the exercises in this course?
A: Lab sessions with demonstrators end on Wed 13 Feb. Please aim to do at least 2 things by Friday 15 Feb. The final deadline (for at least 2 things) is Friday 22 Feb.
PLEASE DO NOT PUT ENORMOUS FILES IN THE COURSE PIGEONHOLE. Just put one or two .cc files, and maybe a README.txt - thanks.

As in October 2007, the planned 'laboratory sessions' in the PWF are at these times in weeks 2, 3, and 4:

A: Thursday 11am-1pm
B: Thursday 2-4pm
E: Friday 2-4pm
C: Tuesday 11am-1pm
D: Tuesday 2-4pm
These are the times at which help will be provided by the department. So if you anticipate needing any help learning C++, come to one of these sessions every week.
